CentOS 8 can't boot after compiling and installing dbus

Post by lokiqula » 2021/01/25 14:25:37

I've removed libraries of this version of dbus, tried chroot and reinstall dbus using dnf but it didn't help.

Is it please more easy to repair or reinstall new CentOS ?

I was solving same problem and I solved it by copying dbus files from backup I made before compiling. It was more easy than reinstall. Did you try regenerate initramfs ?
