I can't Validate SMTP in CentOS 7

Post by marufalam93 » 2019/09/11 07:11:53

I have newly set up a centOS 7 Server. After that installed LAMP(Linux Apache Mysql PHP) there. Then I deployed my project. There is a project which Requires SMTP Validation. That function worked well in our previous server. But After moving to CentOS 7 the validation is not working. Please tell me what config needed to achieve that functionality.

If you are trying to send mail from apache httpd/php then you need to tell selinux that you want to allow it. Use setsebool -P httpd_can_sendmail true to allow it (and persist over a reboot).
CentOS 6 will die in November 2020 - migrate sooner rather than later!
CentOS 5 has been EOL for nearly 3 years and should no longer be used for anything!
