Does the Logitech C920 Pro Webcam Work With CentOS 7

Post by desertcat » 2017/11/20 23:22:35

I am trying to get some information on the Logitech C920 Pro Webcam and CentOS 7. I have have mixed results some say it works with Linux, others say it does not. Does anyone out there have the Logitech C920 and does it work with CentOS 7? I am considering buying one but I need to know if anyone who actually owns one and is running CentOS 7 have had any problem getting it to work, and if so how did you fix the problem?

Thanks

I am in search of webcam right now. jim, on freenode said Logitec was good. But when I was on their website there was no option to select Linux as an OS.
A Centos friend on Facebook said the centos drivers are fine to run Logitech gear.
