Embeded distro similar to CentOS?

I apologize if this is the incorrect forum to post in, but I wasn't sure where else to post this question!

I'm wondering if anyone had any recommendations for an embedded (minimal requirements, designed for a flash filesystem, etc) Linux distribution that has a life cycle similar to CentOS. Sort of an enterprise Linux distribution that can be used on embedded systems that don't meet CentOS's requirements.

I'm looking for something like that to install on AMD Geode (586) based systems like the PC Engines ALIX boards (http://www.pcengines.ch/alix.htm). I'd like to be able to deploy the routers in the field and leave them there for several years, performing security fixes and such remotely from time to time. None of the distributions I've looked at have been a good fit for that sort of application though because they don't have long term supported releases that allow for online updating. Most distributions in that genre don't seem to have security releases in general, implying that the admin should re-install the router every few months to get security updates.

Any suggestions or pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!
