Hello,
Just install centos6, having trouble with NIS automaps. It will not mount the directory via auto.master, I can query using ypmatch.
/etc/auto.master example below;
/user yp:auto_user -nosuid,intr,tcp,rsize=32768,wsize=32768
/data yp:auto_data -nosuid,intr,tcp,rsize=32768,wsize=32768
ypmatch example below;
ypmatch clu auto_user
fsharv1:/fsharv1-uvideo3/clu
I have disabled firewall and selinux.
What am I missing.
NIS and auto.master
Re: NIS and auto.master
OK sorry for the quick update.
Now I can navigate to the automounts but the contents are hidden until I navigate into the directory. Older versions would show the directories before navigating into them.
Thanks
