cant install BIND DNS server

Post by oman_linux » 2020/11/17 04:24:13

Dear members

I am trying to install the BIND DNS server on CentOS 7 but at the installation, it gives me a message " Exiting because subscription is missing".
Any idea please ? or any other free DNS server fit on CentOS 7. I am new to CentOS

What is the output from rpm -q centos-release ?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

But the error about subscriptions either means this is RHEL or that Subscription-manager is installed and enabled on CentOS.
