Centos 6 x64 can't support 3ware 9550SX Raid card

I had 3ware 9550SX Raid card but 3ware Software Suite User Guide for
Linux say It only support Centos 4 it is true ?

I have an old 7000 series controller running on CentOS 5 an the monitoring tools for the 9000 series will work.
So install your CentOS 6 an see if it work. I think the kernel will work with the card.
