I installed while hard wired connected, I did find the file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-enp3s0 and changed ONBOOT=yes, restarted and still can not do yum update and can not ping 192.168.1.1 or 8.8.8.8
Network cable plugged in and internet is on

Do I need to reinstall, how do I get network connectivity

And is the interface up and does it have an ip address? Does your default route point to the correct place? Do you have a valid nameserver line in /etc/resolv.conf?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Is the interface up?

Code: Select all

ifconfig
What is in the routing table?

Code: Select all

route -n

interface was not up, ifconfig no answer, I think I finally know what I did wrong, as I never installed CentOs before I wasn't aware of the different options that I need to complete at installation time, I only completed the ones that had a warning sign, I'm currently reinstalling CentOs 7 Everything and correctly setup the network and added the GUI to be installed too

I'll update the post as soon as it's done

Thanks you
