CentOS-8 scanner problem with Canon Networked Multifunction Laser

Hi
I have CentOS-8.2. on my fix computer (system Intel CPU I5-4690+GT1030 16Go RAM).
Printers: Canon i-sensys MF643Cdw (on Ethernet with fix IP@)
Print operation are OK but Scanner not run with Centos. It is OK for my Android phone, my wife's i-phone, i-pad and Surface... and laptop Ubuntu of my son !
CentOs knows only USB WebCam
Any help will be greatfully recieved.

Have you scoured the Canon website? I know finding drivers for my Epson scanner was an issue and took some digging on their site until I found their iscan (image scan} drivers. I don't know if that helps you, but I hope so.

Yes, I downloaded their driver and the printer works, only the sanner is a problem.
I also contacted the support which only provided the driver for linux; but no help if you are not Microsoft/Apple. :?

Apologies - I neglected to mention that my Epson driver did not enable scanning via the built in Gnome tool. Rather it installed it's own scanning app under Applications, Graphics.

Again - it may be useless info for you but ...
