Issue when upgrading from centos 7.2 to 8.2

Hi All
I am trying to upgrade from 7.2 to 8.2 using this tutorial : https://www.tecmint.com/upgrade-centos-7-to-centos-8/
However I am stuck at dnf upgrade -y
Whenever I tried to do dnf upgrade I am get a dump of python errors the end of which is as follows

Error Summary
-------------

Not sure what the error is I have tried lots of stuff but nothing is working . Yum has already been removed and is not getting installed again even via rpm .

There is NO UPGRADE from CentOS 7 to 8. That aritcle is wrong and misleading and will result in broken systems. Do not use it.

There is no supported upgrade path from one major version of CentOS to another. Never has been, probably never will be. Install a parallel system and migrate your apps and data from one to the other.
