Minimal ISO for CentOS 8

Frankly I would much rather that the CentOS team did not waste time doing an entirely pointless minimal install DVD to satisfy a small number of people who are entirely to cheap to live with a standard ISO.

Aside from the arrogance, just because you don't need a minimal install image does not mean that others do not. Oh and it's spelt "too" - "too cheap", not "to cheap".

I find it rather humorous that you are correcting him on spelling using the word "spelt" which is not a word... proper word would be 'spelled' but yes, 'too' is proper. LOL

Why would it be that big!? It just needs python, network, rpm, kernel. It should not exceed 300 MB!

I would just like ANY CentOS 8.2 image that actually works. I get missing package errors when installing from any image. I had to go back to the 8.1.1911 images to get a working system. LOL

I've used both the minimal so far and the full dvd image and both have worked. Is there an MD5 you can check your ISO against when you download?

sha256sums are in both the release notes and in a text file located in the same directory that you obtained the iso image from.
