tracker-store and tracker-miner-fs - high CPU load
Anyone know please how to reduce CPU load ?
Re: tracker-store and tracker-miner-fs - high CPU load
dnf remove tracker\* ??
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

I'm sorry this is not recommended in C7: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=67159&p=282182&hil ... er#p282182
Did it change in CentOS 8 ?

AC ... alternating current? As in "disconnect power cord from your machine"?
I've seen in a C7 kickstart post:
I guess that prevents the installed tracker from starting.
That is not a "not recommended". That is user's personal opinion on what they deem important.
I've seen in a C7 kickstart post:
Code: Select all
sed -i "s/X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled=true/X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled=false/" /etc/xdg/autostart/tracker-*

Re: tracker-store and tracker-miner-fs - high CPU load
It can be so. Users with battery powered laptops would need wait some time then.
Thank you, I'll try it. I hope there won't be bad consequences from it.I've seen in a C7 kickstart post:I guess that prevents the installed tracker from starting.Code: Select all

I've been trying temporary solution:
Code: Select all
$ tracker daemon -t
