Application package does not compile
Re: Application package does not compile
CentOS 5 has been dead for nearly 3 years. No-one should be running that at all, anywhere, unless it's in a locked room with no cables attached to it.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

You're not understanding.
CentOS 5 should not be used. At all. Anywhere. It's dead. Do not use it. It is dangerous. Stop using it ASAP.

Re: Application package does not compile
Even if Centos 5 works for certain tasks without problems 9 years ? This reminds me a lot of the situation with Windows XP
Re: Application package does not compile
Is that hardware relevant any more? High electricity consumption, surely support contract gone, components breaking.
That is the key issue. The redo could be really easy if you would put some effort on it.
If you don't want to maintain a cluster, then you don't want to have a cluster. Redo is standard maintenance.
Sounds like:
Law: Murder is a crime.
Thug: But I can kill people with no problems?
Re: Application package does not compile

Re: Application package does not compile
Finally I solved the problem. I installed the system from the image CentOS 7.0 DVD ISO didn't make any updates and I set there torque 4.2.4.1
Re: Application package does not compile
You did not solve the problem. You apparently don't understand the problem.
The problem is in torque. You have to change or replace torque.
CentOS 7.0 has been dead from 31 March 2015. DO NOT USE.

Re: Application package does not compile
If the cluster will work for another 5 years without system updates, it completely satisfies me A complete solution to the problem would be the possibility of completely turning off openssl during compilation. I absolutely do not need encryption
