no flac support in K3b under CentOS?

Post by JeepNut » 2019/09/01 16:47:55

That's it in a nutshell.
Opening K3b and ripping tracks and there is no option for flac.
I've done the same a hundred of times under openSuSE ... any help with flac on k3b?

Are you sure it's installed? Try yum install flac and see if it is.

It works for me, well, I didn't actually try it but I followed it through to the point where it offered me the option to pick what filetype to rip to and that list includes flac.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

DOH! Totally forgot about having to actually install flac.
It's been so long since I had to rebuild a system...thanks!
