What's the meaning of changelog about kernel-3.10.0-957.src.rpm ?
What's the meaning of changelog about kernel-3.10.0-957.src.rpm ?
when I get the change logs through `rpm -qpi kernel-3.10.0-957.el7.src.rpm --changelog`, I can get many lines, but I couldn't understand all fields of the line, for example, I see a line "[md] dm raid: fix stripe adding reshape deadlock (Mike Snitzer) [1613039 1514539]", I think "[md] dm raid: fix stripe adding reshape deadlock" is the commit string from linux mainline, but what's the meaning of "(Mike Snitzer)" and "[1613039 1514539]"
Re: What's the meaning of changelog about kernel-3.10.0-957.src.rpm ?
(Mike Snitzer) was the Redhat author who made that change. 1613039 and 1514539 are bugzilla.redhat.com bug entries related to the change.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
