UI doesn't fit the new monitor screen

Post by curveu » 2014/11/16 23:02:46

hi everyone,
I'm using CentOS 7 and recently I just changed my monitor from a 22' to 23'. But when I got into CentOS UI, it feels bigger than my screen. For example, when I maximize my software interface, I can't see the top right "close" button. I tried to mess around the NVidia settings but can't find a way to fix this. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Calibrate your monitor.

You'll get the best display by using a DVI cable instead of the older VGA one if your monitor and video card both support it.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
