viewtopic.php?f=12&t=873

Specifically, please read the part about "What to do if no-one answers" where it says "Please wait for at least 24 hours".

Meanwhile, you can help us to help you by posting more information about how your system is set up, what drives you have attached to what controllers, how they are currently partitioned, where you chose to do the install into which partitions and whether you formatted them or not. Reading the code in bootloader.py shows that line 1591 fires if the return code from grub2-install shows that it did not work. I suspect that the output of the command will be on one of the alternate consoles that you can switch to using Ctrl-Alt-F2/F3/F4/F5 and that output will probably tell you far more about what went wrong.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

Are you installing from DVD media? Did you run the integrity check prior to the install?

Did you read the first screen?

The second item is test media and install.

If it shows errors you have a bad burn.
Don't just ignore the errors and plow ahead with bad media.
