Upgrade from Centos 5.9 to 6 - has anyone done it?

Has anyone done an inplace upgrade from Centos 5.9 to 6 and if so - how has the upgrade gone?

There is no supported migration path from one to the other. A reinstall is recommended.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
