I did an install of oracle 10g R3, w/o creating a database.
I then run dbca as the oracle user and proceed to do the database creation.
It then gives me an error:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [keltnfy-ldmInit], [46], [1], [], [], [], [], []
I'm running CentOS release 4.3.
I've included the trace.log file, which includes that error.

Re: ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [keltnfy-ldmInit]
Hi, as you know ora-600 errors might be reported to Oracle through a TAR (for that you need support).
I searched the forums and I found this link http://www.puschitz.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=295&sid=c23ab4f1646d540dc40187c9eda9843b that might be helpful.
Good luck

Thanks for the link. It gives me a hint.
I'm reluctant to put in an iTAR, since CentOS isn't supported.

Check your /etc/hosts file.
Oracle must be able to resolve your hostname.
keltnfy-ldmInit is Oracles way to say it can't
