Error In Invoking target 'ntcontab.o' of makefile

Hello,

I am getting following error while installing oracle 10g database

" Error In Invoking target 'ntcontab.o' of makefile"

OUI is busy in linking 'oracle net required support file....

I am on CentOS 4 and liab*.rpm package is already installed....


kindly help what to see next....

have you installed the glibc-devl and glibc-headers .... Cheers, Toai.

Hi all,

I got the same issue on Fedora a few months back. I documented one possible solution on [url=http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=99380]fedoraforum.org[/url], involving a patch to the gennttab script. At that time I didn't have any CentOS installations to manage, so I am not quite sure if this is exactly the same problem, but someone may want to give it a try...
