Red Hat insights

Just noticed this message today when I made a remote connection to my CentOS 8 server:
This system is not registered to Red Hat Insights. See https://cloud.redhat.com/
To register this system, run: insights-client --register

Activate the web console with: systemctl enable --now cockpit.socket
I went to the Red Hat website and started reading about it but I wanted to get some feedback before going any further.

Is this something I should even bother with and what are any pros or cons to registering my system?

Our Centos8 server is basically a file server but I also use it as a DHCP server and a DNS caching server using dnsmasq.

Thanks for any feedback!

I too became concerned when I connected to one of my CentOS 8 machines.

The insights-client package should not be part of CentOS 8 and has been removed, uninstall it.

I uninstall the insights-client but under cocpit system still reports as unregistered and system updates does not allow me to update packages.
System has been rebooted. Any ideas how to get make it work as usual ?
Thanks

Is it subscription-manager instead?

I have :
python3-subscription-manager-rhsm-1.25.17-1.el8.x86_64
subscription-manager-cockpit-1.25.17-1.el8.noarch
subscription-manager-rhsm-certificates-1.25.17-1.el8.x86_64
dnf-plugin-subscription-manager-1.25.17-1.el8.x86_64
subscription-manager-1.25.17-1.el8.x86_64

Which one/all of them to remove ?

All of them will be dependent on subscription-manager
