Hey Guys, i have some issue with doing ssh to another centos system as a particular user.
I tried ssh as other users and its working. This user's password is being authenticated and the only difference i have is at the end of the output, which is attached here. Any idea of what might be the issue?
i dont have root access for this so anything which can be done locally would be helpful.
Thanks for taking your time and Happy Weekends[

Re: SSH Error shell request failed on channel 0
There's a very long thread on https://stackoverflow.com/questions/270 ... -channel-0 with lots of potential causes and solutions listed. I'd start by reading that and going through those. It would help to get the server logs from /var/log/secure but you would need root access to look at those so you probabyl need to ask your admin for the info.
CentOS 8 died a premature death at the end of 2021 - migrate to Rocky/Alma/OEL/Springdale ASAP.

Thanks Trevor
i saw the thread early too but as you can see most things need root access so i will probably let him know and ask him to check. thanks for the info
