With Vmware player, I installed CentOS, on my Windows PC.
In Windows PC, could see DHCP is enabled. So I might have dynamic IP.
In CentOS, I installed and configured httpd service.
From Windows PC, I could access the CentOS http index page, using CentoS private IP address.
However, I'm not able to access the same http index page, using CentOS Public IP address.
So how to access http service, using Cent OS Public IP address from Windows PC, and other outside PCs (over internet) ?
Access http service with pubic IP address, over internet
Re: Access http service with pubic IP address, over internet
In all likelihood, your CentOS box doesn't have an external ip address. It's far more likely that it has an ip address served via DHCP to it by your router which then does NAT to allow you to access the outside world from the inside but not the other way around. If that is the case then you need to adjust your router so that it forwards the correct port from outside to the internal ip of your CentOS VM.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Got your point. I thought, public IP address belongs to the respective computer system.
Thanks for clarification. Your solution worked.
Also I observed, My router public IP address & The public IP address which I got via sites like "https://www.whatismyip.com", are different.
After little search, I understand, It might be because my router/ISP settings on NAT/Double NAT.
