configuring proxy authorization on centOS8

Post by mr.overlord » 2022/01/20 12:25:16

good afternoon. There is the following problem and I really hope that someone can help me here. The network has a new clean machine on Centos8, several machines on CentOS7 and a proxy server with mandatory authorization. All CentOS machines are in the same domain. But when you open the browser, CentO7 automatically logs in to the proxy, and CentOS8 asks you to enter your username and password. is it possible to defeat this somehow?

Defat which bit? The prompt for the username and password on CentOS 8 or the lack of it on CentOS 7?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
