I hope this post is acceptable here being a pure 'CentOS' forum. I am a current user of CentOS7 and WAS upgrading to CentOS8 and saw it was end of life etc. I decided to go with Rocky as a replacement and am running into one or two (they appear to be non Rocky-specific) issues - i.e. configuration of httpd/virtual hosts.
The Rocky forum seems to be VERY quiet and currently geared solely to fixing issues with Rocky itself. Is there a place I can post configuration questions apropos Rocky 8.4? I would suspect the issue/answer is identical to that if I were running CentOS8 but didn't want to
hide the fact it is non-CentOS...Hopefully this is all clear!
CentOS8 / Rocky issue
Re: CentOS8 / Rocky issue
CL and RL both have the same httpd as the RHEL, which has documentation: https://access.redhat.com/documentation ... of-servers
Apart from some "Where is file XYZ?" details most of the config is however Apache does it. https://httpd.apache.org/docs/
Almost all, who frequent Fedora/CentOS/Rocky/Alma channels, are volunteers who help when they can. The channel should not matter,
but the questions about "How to configure Apache?" might find more experts on Apache's channels (whatever those are).

Re: CentOS8 / Rocky issue
A couple of weeks ago I started looking into what to switch to.The Rocky forum seems to be VERY quiet ...
One thing I looked at was forum traffic, and it looks like it's
a bit higher than here. The traffic on the Almalinux forum is
lower.
Re: CentOS8 / Rocky issue
Thanks for the feedback guys. I did post my apache config issue to an apache forum and am waiting for some feedback.
Pushing ahead with Rock and happily now on 8.5.
Thanks again,
Paul
