Intel AX200 Not Being Seen

Post by mrendoftheline » 2021/09/10 03:35:28

I'm really going through the rabbit hole on this one so any assistance is appreciated.

I've got an Intel AX200 chip wifi card and it will show up when attached to my motherboards PCIE 16x slots but will be unusable, or if I try to put it in one of the PCIE 1x slots it isn't even seen by the system.

Code: Select all

[root@localhost 23:27:]# uname -r
4.18.0-305.17.1.el8_4.x86_64
This is what I see with the card in the PCIE 16x slot

When the device is placed in the PCIE 1x slot nothing is dmesg shows up for iwlwifi.
This is what I see from lspci when the card is inserted in the PCIE 1x

I basically was going off some advice posted in this thread posted by Sebastian Penhouet - https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205123 in an attempt to fix the issue of it not being usable even when it shows up in the PCIE 16x slot. If there's anything else I can provide please let me know I'm happy to but I'm really at a roadblock.
