ICMP Protocol Reject

Post by brnfrd » 2020/11/09 23:14:33

I'am very newbie at linux/CentOS system, i've search and didnt find any topic about this.
I work as tester of devices in the network process; i trying to setup a VM to create a test environment for myself .I wanna know if there is a way to reject all request sent to network with a ICMP protocol. But i would like to config the cause of rejection the network will sent with different types of ICMP protocols.
For example : Deny all request with the message ICMP Type 3 - Code 1 (Host Unreachable).
Is this possible?
