Accessing macvlan podman containers from host

Post by AsstInverter » 2020/10/05 12:11:33

I've successfully followed this guide:

https://blog.carroarmato0.be/2020/05/08 ... e-network/

And managed to get my podman containers to have a "real" IP on my network. Everything seems to be working, except I can't access them from the machine that actually hosts the containers.

This is expected, as one has to set up a bridge. The link above details things for Fedora, which is different (uses systemd-networking instead of NetworkManager.)

Can anyone go through the list of steps I need to perform to make this work?

CentOS8 Stream, if it matters.
