Missing NetworkManager-vpnc package

Post by avukajlo » 2020/09/29 10:13:58

There is no NetworkManager-vpnc package in repo. It is in fedora and centos 7 repos.
Why is it missing ?

You need to raise a ticket on bugzilla.redhat.com in the Fedora EPEL section as vpnc is not supplied by CentOS, it comes from EPEL. And there are more problems than just NetworkManager-vpnc being missing - there is no vpnc package there for it to use so all of vpnc with the exception of a package called vpnc-script.noarch is missing from the EPEL 8 repo.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
