Troubleshooting vsftpd.

Post by hack3rcon » 2020/08/20 10:48:11

Hello,
A Windows client couldn't connect to the vsftp server but Linux clients could. How can I troubleshooting it?

Thank you.

there are lots of things here, couldn't connect means whats? no user/password box? authentication error?

linux and windows are at the same network?

it can be a network issue or a ftp issue...

Maybe Your server configure is older than client accepted, look to client logs.

Timeout is a common error when you have a mismatch of passive vs active on client/server.
CentOS 6 will die in November 2020 - migrate sooner rather than later!
