Between CentOS7 and CentOS8 the wifi system / ath9k driver seems to have lost the functionality to be put in 5Ghz(a) AP mode because something has changed the settings to say no-IR on all channels.
This is shown on the same HW (PC-Engines APU) I just swapped the SD card from 7 to 8.
You can see in the CentOS7 iw list that it has channels that are _not_ blocked but the CentOS8 iw list below has all 5GHZ channels blocked.
Is this a bug ?
