Hi Guys,

has anyone installed openvswitch on centos 8. i got epel for 8 but there is no package there for it.

Openvswitch is packaged for CentOS 7 by one of the SIGs and is not in EPEL there either.

The SIG process for CentOS 8 is not yet written and thus there are no SIG packages for 8 yet.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
