I run CentOS on old hardware that requires dd-aacraid from elrepo.org:
inst.dd=https://elrepo.org/linux/dud/el8/x86_64 ... elrepo.iso
The version above is currently the most recent on elrepo.org, and it used to work with CentOS Linux 8, but when I tried to reinstall a machine using CentOS Stream 8 (20210311), I got stuck with the hard drive not detected.
I would most appreciate any pointers.

Re: dd-aacraid 1.2.1-4 (elrepo.org) not working with CentOS Stream 8 20210311
Things from ELRepo do not work with Stream as it uses a different kernel from RHEL and CentOS Linux. It's already got the kernel that will be in 8.4 and got that within about a week of the release of 8.3.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Thank you so much for the reply and explanation.
Are there any suggestions for how I can boot Stream with aacraid at the moment?
