CentOS

I am trying to install CentOS 8.1 (CentOS-8.1.1911-x86_64-dvd1.iso) from a USB HD. It randomly freezes during install every single time. Is there anything I can do to make it work? It gets to the end sort of where its installing packages and wants a root password to be defined. Then it will freeze there eventually and randomly.

Any help would be appreciated. Its an AMD machine AMD GX-424CC SoC. And freezes on the GUI, so I see nothing, no kernel segfault code.
