Use lspci -nn | grep -i raid to identify your RAID card and get its PCI vendor/device id and then use Google to find ELRepo and look at their pages on how to identify the driver from them that you need. They also have a blog post on how to provide that kmod package to the CentOS 8 installer.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

Linux will see the disks as 2 single drives. That controller is really "fake" RAID as it s not a true hardware raid controller. The driver controls the raid functionality. The driver is not open source and only made available for RHEL and SLES.
