gnucash question - if anyone knows

Post by lightman47 » 2023/05/25 15:51:19

On RHEL 8/9 I am running Version: 5.1
Build ID: Flathub 5.1
Finance::Quote: 1.5301

Does anyone know where it stores it's 'payee accounts' data? I know where my checkbook data is, but I want to clean out my 'payee' list. I've searched every folder I can think of and can't find the table. There are dups (with typos) in there that I want to delete.

Thank you.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

So, I tried opening my checkbook file with LibreOffice and after lots of scrolling started seeing some of the payees!! Awesome!

Thanks.

EDIT:
As I began deleting sections in the file it occurred to me - "You can't delete them 'doap'! They're all referentailly linked to transactions!!"

Oh, well - was a nice thought while it lasted.
:oops:
