BitLocker drive

Post by np1024 » 2022/08/31 22:24:17

I purchased a new laptop HP Fury16 G9 with two 500GB M.2 drives in it.
It came preinstalled with Windows 11 on disk 0
Both disk 0 and disk 1 are encrypted with BitLocker installed and activated by HP
In the BIOS I need to have "secure boot" enabled in order to get boot into Windows
I want to install centOS 9 stream on disk 1
the aim is to press F9 when i start the laptop and get into the boot menu so i can choose between windows or linux
How do i install centOS 9 stream so it works with secure boot

Why don't you just install it in a VM?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
