Hi all,
This is more related to Red Hat 8 EL but basically the same product or technology. I have a Red Hat 8 machine that I have added to the domain via a bash script that was handed down to me. I have added machines before using this script (it uses adcli). The script ran correctly with no errors but when I look in Active Directory I cannot find the machine name. Note the first time I ran the script I had TCP/IP configured with a /8 and not a /24 so I reran the script, same problem.
I can login to the AD domain with my AD accounts but the only thing is this machines account is nowhere to be found. The network is in a closed environment with no Internet access. Seems also the 2 domain controllers are not showing the same time, not sure if this is a big issue.
Why wouldn't I see the machines account? Has me stumped. Any logs in Red Hat I could check?
