On average once a day the mouse pointer stops moving both from touchpad and Lenovo red micro joystick. No clicks work either. However the keyboard continues to work normally.
systemctl restart gdm.service does not help, the mouse pointer remains stuck after re-login.
How to diagnose and fix that extremely annoying issue?

i had some issue with my touchpad that i don´t remember now what, but i had to set something as "basic" at bios regarding touchpad
