Multiple GNOME Tweener.js errors in /var/log/messages

Post by BigDog » 2021/10/10 06:25:57

Hi Community

I am currently running Centos 8 Stream, version Linux 4.18.0-338.el8.x86_64 x86_64 and seeing repeating Tweener.js messages in /var/log/messages. This happens like clockwork every 10 minutes. The Gnome desktop version is GNOME Shell 3.32.2. A side effect of this, I think, is the continuous high fan speed of the laptop in question. The top command shows no excessive high cpu processes running to cause the high fan usage. Looks very much like another Gnome bug but appreciate if any can advise if they have seen this before and what can be done?

Apologies for not having more to go on but multiple Google searchs have proved rather unsuccessful.

Thanks

BigDog
