Missing module eveusb

Post by afernandezody » 2021/09/15 18:50:57

Hello.
I can see the following error message in the system log:

Code: Select all

modprobe[1773]: modprobe: FATAL: Module eveusb not found in directory /lib/modules/4.18.0-305.12.1.el8_4.aarch64
Any suggestion on what might be missing would be welcomed. Thanks.

What files do you have in /etc/modules-load.d/ and do any of them mention eveusb.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

The only file is lnet.conf, which simply contains lnet. [CentOS is 8.4.2105].
