It doesn't appear to be in CentOS 8..
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

Will I cause a lot of problems if I download/install Mageia 8 for x86_64 from https://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/sear ... 3ASession), do you think?

I have a clean install of RHEL 8 (thanks to 7 being hacked) and I don't want to be screwing it up.
Thank you.

I'd download the Fedora SRPM for the package and rebuild it in mock.

Or perhaps better, raise a bugzilla and ask the Fedora maintainer to branch it for EPEL8.

Since I have Fedora 34 running, I ran yumdownloader --source --url perl-CGI-Session and it tells me you can grab the latest SRPM from https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora ... 34.src.rpm though I did just give that a quick go and it blows up because of modularity so I probably have the wrong perl module enabled.
