If I look at one of the download mirrors (eg: http://mirror.cs.pitt.edu/centos/8-stream/) there is a file called COMPOSE_ID. Below that are the installation ISOs. For example: isos/x86_64/CentOS-Stream-8-x86_64-20210827-dvd1.iso.
If I have that installation ISO, is there any way to get the compose ID? In this example, the COMPOSE_ID file contains "CentOS-Stream-8-20210827.n.0". I can deduce most of that from the filename of the ISO, but not the ".n.0" portion. I had hoped that the COMPOSE_ID file would be present somewhere on the ISO itself, but I didn't find it.
Can I get a COMPOSE_ID from an installation ISO?
