Hi,
I'm trying to PXE boot/install a VM with CentOS 8.3, and I'm pretty sure I end up here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1914957
Anyone have any ideas on a workaround for this issue? Is there a way to use network-scripts during boot, or something? I don't know that I can get away with totally disabling networking, if that's even possible, since the kickstart/installation probably needs the network.
I see in that issue report that this issue may be fixed in dracut-049-133.git20210112. Is this actionable in any way?
Surprised there isn't a bit more info out there as I believe what I'm doing must be somewhat common ...
Thanks
Workaround for boot failure with CentOS 8.3
Re: Workaround for boot failure with CentOS 8.3
I'm pretty sure that a bug introduced in the RHEL 8.4 beta won't be in 8.3. Or are you using Stream?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
