1) Amarok devs publish a new, Qt 5 version (or at least tag it in git);
The first step is accomplished now:
https://download.kde.org/unstable/amaro ... .71.tar.xz, https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/amarok/-/tags/v2.9.71

I have Cinnamon 4.6 and XFCE 4.16 (4.14 was currently available when I built it) available in testing COPRs:

https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs ... /cinnamon/

https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/mroche/xfce4/

They were built against 8.3 and seemed to work at a basic level with a single user testing them :geek:

Cinnamon 4.8 will not run on RHEL 8.3 without patches or an upstream change in regards to glib usage.

Then I'll also provide a link to the amarok package I built from source. It's totally untested.

I was too lazy to generate separate help and locale packages for each available language, so they all (including the English help) are lumped together as amarok-langpacks. For the same reason, development library links are provided inside the main package and not separated to amarok-devel.

Installation requires repositories raven and raven-multimedia to be enabled.
