there are dependencies that you have to install
I cannot even run /opt/zoom/zoom.sh, it fails during installation.Serge_Pineault wrote: ↑2020/11/20 19:37:19Running Centos 7, just had the same problem.
Running /opt/zoom/zoom.sh gives more info. I get this:
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix th
is problem.
Everything worked fine before the update a couple of days ago. Hopefully Zoom will correct this soon.
sudo dnf localinstall zoom_x86_64.rpm
I did yum install libxkbcommon-x11.i686 and it freezed the same way - nothing is happening and no command prompt.Serge_Pineault wrote: ↑2020/11/21 21:21:52After making a few searches on the web, I came across an application that had the very same error as mine, although it was not zoom:

The suggestion was to install libxkbcommon-x11, which I did. Zoom now seems to be working as I could run the usual zoom test, which I could not even do before.
Interestingly enough, this library is not one listed in the dependencies which must be satisfied...
