Is there a hibernate button?

Post by search4workingdistro » 2020/11/18 10:55:33

Installed CentOS 8, but in the poweroff menu in top right corner I do not seem to see sleep or hibernate buttons... How do I hibernate?

At least sleep mode exists. Press and hold ALT key and click on shutdown button to sleep.

Do you mean Alt-<power button>? That does not seem to work, at least on T460p.

I am amazed there is no hibernate button by the way. Am I wrong?

When you press and hold ALT the symbol of the power buttom should change from a circle >> o << to a pause icon >> || <<
Can you see this change in the menu?
