Grub2 loader not working in a dual boot system with windows10

Post by LararaZakaria » 2020/09/12 10:46:00

I've been working with Centos8 for a while now and I haven't encountered any problems until recently where I've updated my windows10 and when I tried to start my centos8 the grub2 loader didn't appear as usual
I've used an iso img I have to access the recovery plan but when I used the command grub2-install /dev/sda an error came saying that I need to specify the target and when I tried to mount the dev/sda it said permission denied
what can I do?

Have you patched with the broken grub2 packages and need to update them to the newer fixed versions?
