Hey Folks,
Just joined the forum, and this is my first time posting. I just set up a CentOS 8 system, with the intention of running it without a monitor attached, and to use RealVNC viewer to connect to the GUI from my Windoze 10 system. I installed from a network install CD, and everything was working fine. Installed RealVNC server on it, registered it as part of my Home group, and verified that I could connect to the RealVNC server from my Windoze box. I had done all that using a monitor and keyboard attached to the CentOS 8 system. All seemed to be good to go, so I shut it down, disconnected the monitor and keyboard, and moved it to the location where I expect it to live. Powered it up, and waited for a few minutes, and then tried to connect to it from Window RealVNC viewer. It connected, asked me for my password, and then opened up to give me a black screen with a mouse pointer. I can still ssh into it just fine, and verified that the vnc server was running, but all I get is a black screen.
Anyone know what the issue might be, and how I resolve it?
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
Cheers,
RealVNC server running headless - Blank Screen
