LibreCAD on CentOS 8

Post by norrsken » 2020/05/23 16:16:02

Hi, while EPEL 7 contains LibreCAD packages so they absent in EPEL 8. Can I hope that they come soon in next version? If not, does it exist any easier way to install this program than to compile it by himself? Any Fedora's package perhaps? Thanks.

EPEL packages are managed via the Fedora EPEL section on bugzilla.redhat.com. Search there to see if the package you want has already been requested and if so add your +1 to the bug. If not then raise a ticket requesting that the maintainer provides EPEL 8 versions.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
